About Ross Shorten
As our director responsible for development land, Ross specialises in the valuation, sale and acquisition of not only land but also hotels, licenced premises, leisure properties and nursing homes throughout Ireland.
His particular expertise in development land covers the sale of all types of landholdings, part built residential sites and infill city sites. He also provides expert advice on the structuring of joint venture development agreements and assembling development opportunities and he regularly carries out commercial and residential development appraisals.
Ross obviously has vast experience in selling and acquiring development land and has recently completed several projects for our private clients, banks, NAMA, local authorities, government departments, the HSE, receivers and for Dublin City Council. He has assisted with sales of golf clubs, farmland and quarries and is on the monitoring committee of Ballymun Regeneration Limited. He also has provided written and oral evidence to An BordPleanála.
Ross holds a diploma in Environmental Economics, a BSc in Surveying and an MA from Trinity College Dublin. He is a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
