About Des Purcell

Des commenced auctioneering in 1965 and has over fifty years continuous experience in the business. He is responsible for the commercial department including residential, industrial, commercial and agricultural land sales, retail sales and lettings and investment.

He is an associate of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the Society Of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, former Fellow of the Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute, a former President of Junior Chamber Waterford, Waterford Rotary Club and former chairman of the South East Branch of the Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute. Des has made several contributions on a national level to media debate on property issues.
