Spectacular Success for GVM Auctioneers with Prime Farm Selling for almost €1.8m
On the sunny afternoon of Friday, 16th June 2023, GVM Auctioneers Tullamore conducted the auction of C.163 acres at Brackagh, Ballycumber, Co. Offaly. in the Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
The auction was conducted both in person and online via www.lslauctions.com, culminating in the great sale for the vendors. The crowning jewel was lot 3, The entire C.159.5 acre block at Brackagh, Ballycumber, Co. Offaly, garnering a handsome price of €1,725,000 and sold to a South of Ireland, businessman.
Notably, lot 4, Comprising C.3.75 acres at Castletown, Ballycumber, Co. Offaly sold for €63,000 to a local young farmer, marking the sale as a great success.
Auctioneer Gordon Cobbe of GVM Tullamore commented that the auction room was full on the day and that they have a number of underbidders seeking land in the locality.
